mines making a funny noise, can you use a multi meter to test it, or is it likely the carbon brushes?

Creda W120VW is the model, yip its another im having a go at fixing, its a learning curve alright, got it off ebay if i cant fix it i’ll scrap it or offer it to someone for free locally if they will let me watch them repair it so i know.

i could buy carbon brushes but that might not be the problem. i know the bearings will need doing also as theres excessive play in the drum and the seller told me it shook, banged. ive never attempted a bearing job, i believe its a big job.

    Hi stin,

You’re gonna have to narrow that down a bit as, so far as I can see, there’s more wrong than right.
