Hotpoint WD440 dispenser.

Hotpoint WD440 washer drier. 710020014.

This machine is fitted with the one piece dispenser unit with the valves fitted directly into the back of the assembly. The conditioner compartment is being filled at the wrong time. There is a large hole moulded into the roof of the dispenser unit and the water is splashing from there. The unit is spotless; I cannot see a reason for this fault. Is it a known issue with these dispensers and wll a new unit solve the problem?
