hi guys , working on this washer today and when i was putting the heat exchanger back together and started the machine water started leaking from the back of the exchanger , the reverse side of the part is a thin plastic film , like a fetilizer bag thickness , there was a kitten in the house and thats what i’m blaming , has anyone experience of repairing these its a straight tear about 2 inches long like you would cut it with a stanley knife . i put some super glue gel on it and some duct tape but i’m not sure it will last thanks

anywho more laughs with the dishwasher , its stuck on 22 mins left and it wont finish a cycle there is always water in the wash compartment and everything is really greasy , baskets , spray arms filters . I took off L/h side panel and i noticed the anti flood switch arrowed and the pressure chamber switch blue lever arrowed rising and falling quickly when the water is being pumped around causing it to stop and start rapidly , also the heat exchanger is full up to the top , there is no water in the bottom tray to cause the system to activate I have included photo of the offending part thanks [/img]
