    Hi All

Our 9 year old Zanussi TD4112 seems to be taking longer and longer to dry a load of clothes. It still gets warm (although perhaps not as hot as it used to – hard to tell) and tumbles properly.

If I pull it away from the wall the back panel where the heater is located is too hot to touch. The external front filters on the door are cleaned on every use. It vents through a hose to an external louvered flap vent – the hose is a bit fluffy but certainly not blocked.

Any thoughts – is there an internal filter somewhere that may need cleaning ?

    Thanks
    Matt

Would be looking for blockages in the air intake vents, also check the air outlet where it passes through the wall. I’ve come across fans been blocked by colour catchers causing the fault described but normally you would be aware of noise if that was the issue.
