Siemens condensing tumble dryer…
Machine will work fine for about one load, then it will cut out. Once it has cut out it takes 2 or 3 hours befor a programme can be started again.
The machine has a re-settable cut out on the heater box, this had not been activated.
There is an exhaust stat behind the fluff filter, a matchstick looking device. This read 10 M Ohms at room temperature and dropped to roughly 9 M Ohms when warmed by the hand.
There are two fingers on the inside of the drum which are sensors.
Any ideas where i should be looking here? I found myself a bit ‘stumpped’ regarding this one 🙁

What do you mean by ‘cutting’ out ? Does the display go blank or does it just stop with lights flashing ?
