Hi, I have this ice maker unit with the plastic arm broken off, but I notice that the customer has no selection lights on the panel now for different ice type.
As the ice unit retails around £65 I dont want to order this and find that the lights still do not operate. Do I presume that as the arm is broken that the unit thinks it’s Full and therefore the selections will not work?? thanks

Thanks Bryan, it wasn’t till I had got home and thought about it, obviously I should’ve manually operated the stub that was left on the ice making unit and I would have seen whether it made a difference to the indicators. The customer had said that he thought the selections were working before he had broken the arm, but that he had an excessive ice build up in that area and in trying to clear the ice had broken it. Can you think of another cause for the selections not to work/light up? cheers
