as above, brand new – just fitted it.

its the basic-est s/oven fan or grill, no timer or prog,
light on the t/stat doesnt come on when you operate fan oven heater. fan doesnt circulate either.
my gut feeling is the selector has been wired up wrongly as everthing else checks out. but i cant locate a wiring diagram 🙁
already spoken to belling and engineer is booked for next week but tenant is stroppy and doesnt believe it will be fixed before xmas and kicking up a stink 🙁

My gut feeling would be links in terminal connection block not in or not tight. If it’s a basic oven you should be able to trace cabling from t’stat/selector switch to element & fan motor & lamp. There is a thermal cut-out in series with the supply to heater, it’s normally fixed to rear.

not that, the terminal box is the dinky 4cmx2cm type, and dont have any bridges. also if the terminals on teh inside werent on it wouldnt heat up like it does as terminals feed to the toc x2 on the live and the cooling fan/fan element on the neut.
