Hotpoint EDCS51H Cooker

I called out to replace a main oven stat on the above as it was over heating, as I pulled the cooker out from the unit there was a flash from under the hob, after removall of the hob I found two wires laying ontop of the grill cavity – one of these had damaged the stat capillary. I thought the wires would have gone to the cooling fan stat but none visable or home for the wires. isolated the wires and after replacement of main oven stat now when turned on just blows trip every time – after 2 hours gave up today. have done all checks – Can anybody supply me with circuit diagram going back tomorrow.
