ParticipantI don`t know if this has been represented like this before but it may look good in the advertising 🙂 . `Access to a knowledge base of 1000 appliance engineers and logistic support representing at least 10,000 years of experience`.
It is a massive accomplishment. Thanks to all those who invest so much time on this venture.

KeymasterNot all members are actually trade, there is, however in all probability, access to the knowledge of around about that many engineers (if not more!)on the site as many of the members are principals of a business that employs a few people. 😉
That does not detract at all from what you’re saying and it is a bit of an accomplishment to have happened in such a short space of time.
But as I’m always saying, the people that contribute to the site, especially the engineers and company owners on here show, to me at least, a massive amount of knowledge, patience and skill in dealing with not only the appliances but also the actual customers in dealing with the general public. I think that in itself is an astounding achievement and serves as a fantastic advert for our trade and the people in it. I also think that as many of us do carry out manufacturer service it’s a great advert for the manufacturer as well so there’s no losers in my honest opinion.

Phew!!
When I saw the subject I though that was how long it would take for all the plastic tubs to bio-degrade in landfill sites.

KeymasterLOL, I actually thought someone had added some of the older members years in the trade together. 😉

I thought it was how long it took to make any money in this trade.

I was thinking it was maybe the average waiting time for a manufacturers service call.
