The door on this machine refused to open. I entered test program and fauly code C11 was displayed. To open the door I disconnected the door switch from the module behind the front panel. Does anybody know what the fault code is. Regards Taff

No such fault code…all Zanussi’s have error codes beginning with E so it may be E11 which is a filling fault.

The code displayed was definitly a “C” The door lock would not release, the machine was empty, and the pipe to the level switch was disconnected. The machine would fill to the correct levels and drain OK. The door lock would only release when I disconnected the door lock. I think I will send the module to EMW for test/repair. I will also fit a new door lock.

No C11 fault code, there’s EC1 & E11, e11 not filling & ec1 continuous filling. There is a cheapy interlock used in some Lux machines that won’t release. Try a new door interlock first.

the ‘c11’ is the 2nd position of the knob in diagnostics!!!…..keep turning the knob u will come to teh fault code being prob ‘e42′ or e43’
it will be the interlock !
