Hotpoint WF 860

    Checked the search on this machine but could not find similar fault.

    Done the bearings on this one and fitted new heater, tested on all programs every think o.k.

    Connect at neighbours house three doors up and found that the machine fills on the 40 deg wash and time starts at 1hr 25.
    At 1hr 23 it trips the r.c.d, changed heater again but still has the same fault.
    Any help appreciated.

    did you change ntc as well??

    id have a look at wiring especially around motor and concrete weght

    No used the old one as it was a differant connection.
    Would the faulty ntc cause a dead short to trip the breaker?

    Check water inlet solenoids ..

    Problem found. 😀
    Mains filter/lead was the problem, funny that it would run o.k for two mins then trip. 😕
