Went to this friday … problem is once the pump drains off the water there is a sort of gurgling sound from the sink (like some sinks make) as the pump drains the last bit of water out of the tub . The pump then makes a chugging noise after it has drained (also sounds like someone sawing with a hand saw lol) .
Checked outlet pipe and sump pipe to make sure there were no blockages and all were fine ..Also fitted a spare pump that i had just to verify it was not the pump..Same noise ..Was thinking whether or not if it was anything to do with the ubend under sink where outlet pipe is connected ,but outlet pipe from w/m is ok.
This is on a beko w/m lady says it all works fine apart from noise 💡
Cannot find anything wrong on machine ..The pump sounds smooth until it’s drained all the water.Outlet pipe is not kinked or lower than sink.Thanks.

gotta be honest, sounds normal for a beko, and most other front mounted drain pump washers…
really need an audio or vid clip, incase theres anything serious ???

Now if you were to stick the drain hose into a bucket or hook it over the sink does the “gurgling sound” remain?
My money is on a shooooshed up U bend TBH.:wink:

My money is on a shooooshed up U bend TBH.:wink: Martin is correct with u- bend .. This was one of my suspicions after i checked outlet hose and swapped in a pump i had with me. This pump now is running quieter like it used to . so jobs a good un as they say.
Just like to add i cleaned out u bend ,did not do this first off as it did sound like a blockage to me either pump or outlet hose.Then u-bend was next on my list to check.Cheers …
