    i went out to this oven to find at arouns 170 degree it trips the plug socket not earth, when rest at fuse box carries on working? really stuck on this, i was thinking thermostat but you can use it agsin and its ok.

    Well it’s just got to be the fan element I would imagine. Assuming it works OK between (say) 100 and 150 degrees with no probs proves that the stat, fan motor and cooling fan are likely to be OK. It must be that there fan element my friend. How does it Megger up anyway? 😉

    hi Martin,
    it meggas fine with no faults, i havnt come across this before so i will see if the customer wants to try a element, he had 1 fitted about 9 months ago, i have checked the fitting all is also ok.
