This has the Askoll wash pump on it and the small hose is leaking and spraying water on electrics and tripping rcd (common fault).
Now I know on the ally motors you have to replace the whole motor for the sake of a 2 inch hose but it seems that on connect they show the pump housing and hose available seperately.
Can I just buy this as apposed to the whole new style ally motor and pump complete.

    Thanks

One question is how long will the Askoll last before it needs replacing? You then have another call and if it’s fairly soon it wouldn’t look good. I would go for the new pump in the knowledge that I’ve done the best job possible and value for the customer.

This subject already has a whole sticky thread to itself. It’s third thread down on this forum and worth a read.

    Re: Whirlpool D/W Wash Pump

    Thanks for replies guys.
My origional plan was to supply a new motor/pump complete and is what i suggested annd quoted to the customer. But Masterpart are out of stock and Connect are a little dearer but it was while looking there that i saw the impellor housing and hose for the Askoll pump.
The sticky thread does not mention anything about replacement housing and hose for the Akoll pump. Just wanted to give the customer some options.

    Thanks
