I assume you have checked the heater element with a meter?
If not you should get approx 25ohms with a good one.
If the pressure chamber and transfer pipe to the sump have been clogged up this can starve the flow and cause the heater to fail etc
Have you followed the burnt tracks back to the machine component that it
connects to as this can be the culprit…..
Thanks CJA – the burnt out pcb connection was on the heater relay, so will follow your advice and do resistance check on the heater element. if it needs a new heater unit I assume I’m bu*!ered because that doesn’t look easy to get to.
