Thought I had heater unit problem but decided to check pcb as they appear to be a more common problem. Sure enough, found a burnt out connection on one of the relays. Have fitted new pcb supplied by bosch, and checked that it is coded correctly for my model, but the water is still not heating on any of the programs. Any advice/input would be very much appreciated.
ThanksPS when I run the diagnostic program the display goes to zero immediately and remains at zero for the entire test.

Plug out if you intend to go in……
I assume you have checked the heater element with a meter?
If not you should get approx 25ohms with a good one.
If the pressure chamber and transfer pipe to the sump have been clogged up this can starve the flow and cause the heater to fail etc
Have you followed the burnt tracks back to the machine component that it

connects to as this can be the culprit…..Thanks CJA – the burnt out pcb connection was on the heater relay, so will follow your advice and do resistance check on the heater element. if it needs a new heater unit I assume I’m bu*!ered because that doesn’t look easy to get to.
