I am having problems with a fridge freezer. We bought a B grade appliance that looked as new and fitted it. It came with a 12 month AEG warranty. A month later the fridge compartment didn’t work, freezer was at -20 degrees. We contacted AEG who sent an engineer. He said the condenser was broken. We went back to the seller, who delivered a replacement B grade same fridge freezer and took the old one. The new one has now done the same thing after the same amount of time!
I guess it sounds likely that its the compressor again?
Is this a common or known issue with AEG fridge freezers?
How should I best tackle this? Get AEG out to fix? Ask for money back? If its the compressor and its replaced under guarantee it should all be good as new?
Any help or thoughts appreciated.
