Hi. First post on the forum. I am actually trade (electrician) but awaiting permission to post in the trade section hence posting in public area. I am in the process of repairing a faulty timer display on the above appliance model number RCM10FRKP. I am reasonably experienced at replacing oven elements but have never replaced a timer clock before. It’s my own cooker appliance so I don’t want to mess up! Just wanted some advice on how to gain access to the timer before I start yanking and pulling at knobs and breaking it. Anyone tell me or is it more obvious than I think? The knobs have chrome bezel surrounds, do I pull these off first and if so how? Will the front panel come off separate to any other parts or do I need to dismantle a lot more first? It’s just an access question tbh.
I have the same rangecooker and I need to replace a function selector for the oven.
I do not manage to remove the front panel in order to access this selector, I removed the screws of the heat shield but the front panel isn’t moving. Maybe you can help me with that…
