thought I share my experience on this particular dishwasher. I got a call out to a non working dishwasher and I was told that it is 35 years old.
When I arrived and saw the dishwasher, it was in such a perfect nick albeit slight surface rust. Sparkling clean inside. Anyway I fiddled a few knobs to get things clicking in place and treated it like an old granny. Lo and behold it works!
That got to be the oldest dishwasher I have ever worked on. It was such a delight to see it. The owner says he paid £300 for it in the 70’s. His reason for buying it as he has three kids and it got too much to wash up! He must be wealthy then!
I came from a family of 6 and we did not have a dishwasher until the late 80’s when one of my brother grown up and left home.
