    Hey everyone, hope you can give me some advice, our trusty hotpoint has given up the ghost after 10 years and we need a new machine asap before the washing resembles a small mountain.

    I have been looking and was considering a mid range zanussi such as this: http://www.zanussi.co.uk/node64.aspx?pr … 6039,16114
    or a hotpoint such as this:

    or this aeg:

    I dont know what to choose as the hotpoint and zanussi have hit and miss reviews and the aeg is more than I would like to spend but if it is really worth it I would get it.

    Ideally I want to spend £400 max, what would you recommend?

    AEG is a Zanussi, the Hotpoint is an Indesit :rolls: .

    Zanussi have become much less reliable in recent times, Hotpoint have been average to poor ever since Indesit took control of the company 8/9 years ago.

    Look for a Bosch in your price range, TBH £400 is at the low end price range for anything even half decent.

    About the right price range for you – they seem very well built and I’ve got nothing but positive feedback from customers about the new “Vario-perfect” settings.
