Door release mechanism is goosed, bits missing from behind push button and both cables broken.

I thought I might be able to just fit one cable but looking at the parts it appears as though the whole shooting match comes complete with, button, cables and latches. …1258266079.

I should be able to reach down to change the unused latch on the left hand ( from front ) side but I cannot reach the right hand one.

I am hoping I will be able to release the control timer to wiggle my hand down the side, other than that it looks like a drum out job. 😥

Unless you know better of course. 🙂

can be done without drum out but its fiddling as it only takes 5 mins to remove drum its the easiest option.
having said that the last one I did was in a very small space that ment moving freezer to gain access so I fiddled a bit!!!!!!!!!!!

    Went back to this today.

    My supposition was correct.

You have to take the facia off to change the push button part of the kit anyway, two screws out of the timer, move it to the side and I was easily able to reach down to change the right hand latch, less than 15 minutes from start to finish. 8)
