    hey guys , had this m/c today i put it on a main wash program no. 1 and it skipped to no. 5 , when i put it on no. 5 it took in water for 20 seconds and skipped on to no 8 kept going alright but on the wrong program , i opened up the filter as it was taking 4 minutes to empty the drum and there was a 10 euro note 4 screws a 2 euro 1 euro and some gunge in it . empties fine but still skipping the programs any one have any ideas before i order a timer switch

    Sometimes the motor just needs cleaning, bad contact of brushes to armature or carbon dust on brush holder can give strange faults.

    Before you go ordering a timer, they do advance on after timer is set & started, this is normal. It takes info at start point & advanced on a good bit, looks like its a fault but its how they work.

    cheers seamy i had the brushes off about 5 mm left from the end of the brush to the end of the holder , i gave the armature a bit of a rub so hopefully all is well tomorrow

    I am not a BEKO expert but I do know that on certain models the timer does skip from the initial programme setting to the last wash programme.

    Its normal and is not a fault, as Seamy has already stated above. 😉

    Perfectly normal, it’s a wonder the customer never mentioned it to you. You did mention it to her? 😆

    I would also like to say i have done a few beko’s (seems most of my locals have them 😆 ) Always asked why the timer skips and i say this is normal from what i have seen.

    i was talking to the customer and she said it was skipping the programs and it wouldnt do a 90 deg wash ,

    You can now tell her it does but “doesn’t look like it does” 8) As you see it looks like it only starts half way through the 40′ wash.

    No this is not normal at all!. Paranormal I would say. Did you see the way that soap drawer seemed to open itself 😯 ? The dark, silent atmosphere. The slow, creeping shots. All add to the suspense. Spielberg will be shaking in his shoes. Why are you fixing washing machines?

    LMTGOWI its only a little gig i have on the side , the money is in movies i’m tellin ya you just need to be creative , i’m startin with appliances cause they are so hard to manipulate , if you can get a broken machine to do what you want then you can do just about anything, thanks for the help anyways
