Hi Guys got a Hoover Optima OPH 714D/1-80 comes up with e3 then e16 fault.no fault with heater I’ve checked it on the rapid wash & its fine.if the cust does a normal wash after 30-40 mins it comes up with the error messages & wont reset until its cooled down, then will work again for another 30-40 mins it sounds like it might be the PCB board any suggestions Thanks Mack.
E3 is a drain time-out error. E16 is indeed a heater fault (low insulation as a rule on these, anything less the 100meg and it’s duff)….I would’nt think it’s a PCB fault at all at this stage TBH.
Thanks Martin I’ve already meggered the heater & thats fine, nothing in the pump or pipes & empties in less than 30 secs.does the rapid wash no problem anything longer than that is when it starts playing up & then wont reset off the error until it cools down? Thanks Mack.
hello
i’ve just had a call about a fault on a HOOVER OPH714DS.
he says it started with an occasional E07 fault indication. now it’s showing
E16..are E07 and E16 faults connected in any way?
thanks
