………..customer returns to garage to find the machine had completely frozen (having set a ‘rinse hold’ programme on overnight on her Hotpoint WT940P). It then took 2 weeks to defrost it safely enough to turn it on again only to find that as it fills the water just flows out on the floor………..mmmmmm?

I did very well out of the cold snap.

Numerous frozen/burst inlet valves pumps etc and sold a couple of new machines that I wouldnt normally have.

Bring on the next one 😈

Indesit/Hpt valves were popping for the hell of it… great little jobs 🙂

The only problem ATM is actually getting any of the Hotpoint/Indesit valves.

I now have five on order of differing types, all out of stock. 😥

Sad to say that this region is not an £850+ washing machine area, a few wise souls out there but times are hard. 😉

Just had one woman on the phone wailing on about how her machine was only 12 months old and it had frozen and burst the valve.

She was not impressed when I informed her that it would not be covered under guarantee if it was 12 days old, its a ‘kitchen’ appliance my dear, it does not belong in your unheated porch. :rolls:

    Jim.
