I have tried polking a wire through the drain pipe, but it does not come through to the tray that sits on top of the compressor,thus it won’t unblock. The model No is RF06P. Any suggestions. Also the wire goes all the way down and seems to be blocked right at the bottom so its not ice because of heat of the compressor. Just can’t see where the wire should come out.

Small jug of boiling water, carefully pour it into drain hose, it should melt it.

But it seems to be blocked right at the bottom, if it was ice the heat from the compressor would melt it. I just can’t see where the wire should come out. Thanks.

The heat from the compressor won’t melt it,comes out above the tray.
Pain to defrost at the best of times,there is often a rubberised flap within the drain tube which gets blocked or stiff and doesnt open easily.
Hair dryer or steam cleaner will help.
