    Hi, our John Lewis w/m ( still in warranty) has recently begun leaving softener in the detergent drawer after the cycle has finished. Before this it was always empty. Does this indicate a bigger problem we should investigate, or is it harmless?

    A full model number would be a help. 😉

    Not normally a major problem, often just a matter of a thorough clean out of the drawer and the drawer compartment, especially the roof of the detergent compartment.

    Personally i would stop using that perfumed grease, it is cholesterol for washing machines :rolls:
