ParticipantIndesit WIXL146 Trips electric as soon as socket is switched on
I did get it to come on once without tripping and led’s 1&3 were flashing (Pressure switch) could not get it to do anything.
I have put a megger on it, and also tested heater and motor separately all ok.
Tried new door lock that did not work. I have inspected the loom that all looks ok, but that would show up on the megger.
I even disconnected the motor, heater, pressure switch, Pump, door lock and front PCB so the only thing connected was the main PCB it still trips as soon as the socket is switched on.Tryed another socket too. I have inspected the main PCB it looks ok no burn marks.
Anybody got any suggestions please.

Use a tester to test the socket polarity.
Disconnect the pcb from the supressor too..
If it still trips then as it has to be the cable assy.

I concure with previous post been down this road before if you have similar old board not working you could try it to test even if its not prog for this model it should prove if its at fault i know you have done it but it still shouts mains lead suppressor

There was more to this than I first thought I did as you suggested tested the socket that was ok. I even tried another mains cable/suppressor also disconnected the main PCB it still tripped as soon as the wall socket was switched.
I believe this is down to a sensitive trip and the fact that the wall socket switch is only single pole.
I did get the machine to stay on several times but each time the forth & the main led’s were flashing, then after a few seconds the first & third led’s would flash and the pump would run. At no time could you turn the machine off by the on/off switch. I did try two main PCB’s they weren’t the correct ones but neither of these worked.
So I am at a loss with this one, the customer has decided to get a new machine
Thanks again for your suggestions
