    Hi,

    Came to use the oven and found it did not work, symptoms are:

    1. While the light and rear fan come on when the left oven selector is used the orange light does not illuminate.
    2. On the right thermostat switch the red light does not illuniate and does not click (not sure whether this should click from cold anyway?).
    3. The display does not light up (tried holding down two buttons as per manual but no effect).
    4. The thermal cut out appeared burnt out.

    So I replaced the thermal cut out and found this had no effect.

    I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this as prior to replacing the thermal cut out spent int total over half a day giving the oven a total clean out, door disassembly etc.

    I now have a 9 year old oven which looks like new but doesn’t work!

    Update,

    Following playing with th control switches the oven now heats up and the red thermostat light illuminates. Possibly a poor contact.

    However, the orange oven selector light does not illumiate and the display will still not illuminate.

    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
