    Hi
I have come across a pressure switch that seems to have a number of outputs from it to a PLC depending on the water depth.
I think they are used in dishwashers and other types of kitchen equipments.

The details I have taken from the switch are as follows:
    Elbi 147-7 37920084 58/23 96/61 1/2 HP 125/250V 15A/125V 10A/250V 60Hz.

I have contacted Elbi in the States but they say the part is no longer made and they have no documentation for it.

I can see similar looking items on the internet but would like documentation to state pressure ranges, switching points etc.

Has anyone came across something like this? Identical or similar?

I dont see an option to attach pictures to this post but I can supply them if required.

    Thanks

    Justin

It’s a standard 2 level switch I would imagine (58/23 & 96/61). It can have any amount of applications not necessarily fitted to any domestic appliance though. The numbers have little significance and it’s unlikely to source any further information from them.

    Why do you ask anyway?:hmm:

    Re: Washing machine pressure switch

Im looking at servicing a number of appliances that may need replacement of the pressure switch.

Have figured out the operation, switched outputs etc by blowing into the component but for purchasing spares I would need the switching pressure points.

Do you know if the ’58/23 & 96/61′ relate to pressure points/capacity of the unit…?

mm water, perhaps, eg 58mm to switch and dropping to 23mm before resetting
