    whirlpool awm8123-6k
    Has anyone had tis machine intermittently giving fault code F06 displayed.
    I have checked the motor brushes, tacho, connection plug but all seems OK.
    Customer has reported violent movement of whole machine.
    The display briefly shows 15 minutes time remaining just before the F06 display appears; regardless of where the program had reached.

    Any suggestions / experiences much appreciated.

    Fault code F06 is definitely to do with the tacho, from Whirlpool tech:

    F06 Tachometer failure (no motor movement detected).

    It’s got to be a poor connection making/breaking I would think, change the tacho and see what happens ?
