    As if Argos could not sink any lower into the Bush/HEC/HAUS swampland, the newest catalogue now has a page of what appears to totally unbranded hobs and hoods.

    engineer enters kitchen .. lets have alook at the other appliances – cos maybe i will leave a buis card ..and seek further work to ofset this loss call out ..

    oven hob cook works

    washing machine hec

    dishwasher haus

    fridge and freezer micromark

    toaster asda special

    ehh maybe i will just keep my card , phwe glad i didnt sign write van as well .. dont want any of these high rollers getn my tel no

    this is all sad but true .. we have a chavish type argos culture – if you care to look round the rest of the house you will see

    flat screens mode by ON asda … the list of cheap rubbish is endless

    lets hope this oft thingy will let us go round putting stickers on these ..

    Hey Have you seen the Russell Hobs branded W/Machines out of ASDA its either a Vestel or a Haier!!!! Also most Argos Branded Homa on da Refrigerator products and Vestel on da Washing Machines.. Bearing Changes oops.. sorry not worth doing Chuck it!!

    They dropped the price to £149.00 for the Chinese tat, doesn’t look as though they are stocking any more ATM.

    The Russell hobbs dryer was almost certainly a White knight though.

    l only see the tat when l get the call to repair but what is quite alarming the Name Russell Hobbs they used be a great name in our industry now look wots happened!!!
    The one l had to look at was under 1 month old so wether this was old stock one will never know …….l’m getting too old for this trade but l need da money Trust me l am trying to keep up!!!!

    I have an unbranded GDA washing machine in the workshop right now for a spider change. At first glance it’s a Creda clone of a Hotpoint WM sixty something but there are subtle differences. I managed to damage the plastic fascia when trying to get it off as it’s attached differently to the Hotpoint type. 😥
