I called to this last week, the machine would lock the door, flash the pre wash light and nothing else. I checked the brushes and these were worn out so replaced them. When I tested the machine it did the same thing again.
So I checked the known error codes to see if there was a procedure for resetting the machine only to find that a flashing pre wash light indicates an NTC fault. I ordered an NTC and went today to fit it.
Tried the machine again but the light continued to flash.
I held the start button for 5 seconds to reset the fault but that didn’t work. I tried a few different combinations of button pressing but to no avail.
One thing I did discover was that if the start button is pressed when the power is off and held whilst switching it back on the machine goes into test mode and I was able to fill, aggitate, drain and spin it. However this still did not get rid of my flashing pre wash light and the machine is still not operational.

    Any ideas?

    Child lock?

If not did you try this reset?

Flashing pre wash LED or flashing start/cancel button on WMA1715 BEKO

Turn power off (not at wall )
    Select 90 degree wash
Press start and cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holdingbuttons down– Start light will flash.
    Leave power on
    Select any spin position
Press start and cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds–other buttons may flash-if they do press start and cancel buttons again for 3 seconds
machine should be reset ready for use
