Bosch SGS53A02GB/27 seems dead

Hi,

Over the weekend, my Bosch SGS53A02GB/27 just stopped dead during a standard wash cycle. The front number indicator – which would normally show 0 to show it’d ended – was just off, and there was water filling the bottom of the unit.

Occasionally, it has come back to life when I switch it on.. it’ll even try to finish a cycle, or start another if I Reset it. But, shortly afterwards, it’ll just go off again.

Thoughts?

For example, just now I started a Rinse cycle, which ran for 10 of the 12 minutes it showed as it started. The water left behind from when it first went wrong was pumped away (doubt it washed away using just gravity), so maybe the pump is still working?

Right now, if I turn it on, nothing happens. But, I think if I leave it alone for a while, I will be able to get it to power up – hopefully, I can hold the Reset combination and get it to do some diags??
