Smeg DI612 odd fault

Really scratching my head on this one. Customer description of fault left me baffled (usual trying to suss the fault rather than telling me the symptoms 👿 ).
No fault code shown but seems to be an intermittent fault which causes the machine to beep once, stop for a second, beep twice and restart. I’ve witnessed it once after sitting through the wash. As soon as it finished filling for the rinse and the motor restarted it did the fault about six times then carried on as normal. She says sometimes that it needs resetting to start the programme again sometimes but not every time.
Problem is she’s moving out on Friday…..just to add to the confusion 👿

Any ideas as I am flummoxed
