    Hi guys this is a hose with protecting microswitch on the heater side of a dw009 should it be n/o or n/c MDI672050210070 this number is from connect. Hope somebody can help. Cheers

    😕 Is it on the output side of the circulation pump? I imagine it would sense that there is sufficient water pressure and be off (open) until the pressure closes it.
    The apparent thickness of the wire suggests it will be directly in circuit with the heater.

    Yes this is normaly open and closes under pressure from pump

    blast I thought it was open circuit and that s why the heater wouldnt work. the D/W is a B&Q dw009 and finding anything on it is a nightmare

    I had one of these not heating and this was the problem – This is a safety switch so that the heater is not energised unless water is being pumped You could bypass the switch for testing to see if the heater operates

    same appliance is also labeled up as a proline, a haier and also a hoover

    sounds like kenwood matsui as well ?? …

    we have loads – kenwoods , we have changed pressure switch thingy and then back to do board …

    most have been built in nightmares , built up on wee bits wood etc
