Customer has already fitted a new pump to no avail. both the new and old pump check out perfectly.

No blockages whatsoever, pump just doesn’t run.

Tested between to two black wire terminals on the PCB to the pump and have a good circuit, apart from the PCB itself is there anything else that can cause this?

I’ve seen this before Jim, check the voltage to the pump when energised, if the timer is dodgy it will be well below 230v. I have had some with70v at the pump and the timer caused the problem.

Hi John, by timer I assume you mean the main control PCB?

Yes the PCB, as far as I am concerned anything which controls a machine should be called a timer, wasn’t life simpler in the old days when all you had to do was get the right crouzet timer for the machine 😀
