Our Smeg DWF 612 SS is leaking from the bottom of the door in the left hand corner. Is this the goalpost seal or the bottom door seal?

It is also taking a very long time to complete a normal cycle (65degrees) – could the two things be related?

    cheers

So I’ve changed the seal but it’s still leaking. The water drips of the bottom left hand hinge.

The water levels seem OK inside, so not overfilling. The bottom spray arm is metal so no splits there. The upper one seems OK, but it has got a curved notch in one end. Is that supposed to be there, does anyone know?

    thanks

I once had a Smeg that was leaking like this. It turned out ot be the seals to the detergent dispenser that had perished. I had to replace the complete dispenser.

Thanks -I’ll have a look at that. I’ve had the front of the door off and it looks like it’s leaking past the little grey plastic strips that push into the bottom of the door frame.

Is the best way to check the water level simply opening the door mid wash cycle?

Open the door whilst the water is still cold to check the water level.
