If you switch machine on and waite 30 sec or so, the on/off & top led flash and dryer fan start also dryer cold valve is energised.
Fault code says its F08 heater relay is there anything else I should try before changing board.
Have had board out looks ok, have had motor running before it shows fault.
I did try another thermister did not help.
Thanks for looking, any help much appreciated

Does sound like a PCB fault. EMW will test it for you. 😉

I recently came across a heater relay fault code on a WF type machine and it was the element earth leakage. A new element cured it so check element first.

    Good advice. 🙂

TBH an earth check on heater elements on any modern machine is a good idea.

Lots of strange faults thrown up on dishwashers, washers & washer dryers due to dodgy elements.

I have just been back to this machine to test for an earth leak as I did not do one on my first visit and yes the heater was down, I did not fit a heater as I thought I would need the board as well.
Thank for the reply Micky 32, will now try just the heater and see how I get on.
As iadom said. “It’s good advise to check for an earth leak on any modern machine”

    thanks again
