I’ve got a customer with a Lofra cooker, whose timer has gone t!ts up. He tells me in an email:
“the clock/timer keeps clicking on and off and it affects the oven functions. The clock continually flashes and just keeps clicking.”
I’ve informed him of the unfortunate situation he’s in with regards to Lofra being bust and there being no available spares, but he’s emailed me back asking:
“Just a question – we don’t really need the clock or timer to work but it keeps cutting on and off the power to the ovens – is there any way of just by-passing the damaged clock/timer unit and just feeding the ovens direct?”
What would the legality of this be? Is there any safety circuit in the timer that would also be bypassed, rendering it unsafe?
All thoughts welcome please, chaps.
Thanks,
Pigpen.
