Caple DI414 – Beeping/Flashing

I have done a few searches on here and found a few threads re a beeping/flashing Caple DI414.

But not one like mine, its quite tempremental and its happened once before. A few days ago i turned it on and it stopped about 10 mins after the programme started, beeping constantly and when I opened it up the light was flashing in a sequence of 2 (again and again). I have tried the reset and it makes no difference, i powered it down for 24 hours and tried again. Exactly the same, though this time it started beeping straightaway.

There was a little water in the bottom but not very much, i dried it out after powering it down. I also checked all the pipes to ensure there were no blockages – all ok.

Today, i powered it on and tried it on a rinse programme…it started, no beeps…and the progrnamme completed. Thinking it was working again I loaded it up and put it on a standard eco programme…started fine but an hour in it started beeping again and a reset makes no difference.

I should add that this happened once before about 6 months ago, at the time we left it for a month and then by chance tried it again and it worked. Though I am not sure on the error code the last time it happened.

Any help would be appreciated?
