    Hi there,

Wonder if you’d be kind enough to help me?

Last year, we inherited a Frigidaire Gallery Professional American fridge/freezer when we moved house.

Sadly, a few days ago it started to trip the electric, so we called out a repair man. He quickly diagnosed the problem – the compressor – but wasn’t able to replace it because of the refrigerant used in the fridge – R134a.

I’m wondering if you could kindly answer me a couple of questions:

    1) Is anyone still regassing R134a? Anyone know of someone around the Bristol area? Google isn’t my friend!

    2) Any idea of what kind of ballpark we’d be in cost-wise for getting it done? It’s not going to be a cheap bit of kit to replace, but there obviously comes a point where it’s not economical any more.

    Thank you in advance 🙂

    Jim
