    Hi All,

I thought Id got this licked but no, it seems the metal clips in the flowmeter pcb connector have lost their spring, I can bend the connectors and its fine for 5 days or so and then the connector losses its grip and then we have f7 again.

First option is to fine a new connector cable that runs from the flowmeter to the control board of secondly and a bit of a bodge is to remove the connector and solder the wires directly to the PCB.

    What are your thoughts??

    Regards

Before going down the replace harness or soldering wires on to the PCB have you tried somewhere like Maplin for a suitable replacement connector?

    Ive tried maplins, no joy.

I did ponder about using conductive glue but that depends on the voltage as its only suitable for low voltage use.
