ParticipantIs there any easy way of identifying these ?
Three times recently I have ordered a pcb using the info from SIOS and it’s been wrong and that’s with the 12nc as well 😥
The current one is 854293715310 – pcb supplied is 481221478191, which although the plugs are in a different position they are all there, but on power up, it fills for 10 seconds and aborts, start light flashing away with no sequence to it at all.
Circ pump also replaced (that’s what blew the pcb).
Any thoughts ?
Dave.

Hi Dave, Been having a hunt through for you on this one but from the information I’ve got the original module (481221478206) is replaced by 481221478191. Machine should be pre 1999 with these numbers.
The fault you describe is normally down to the flowmeter not sending the pulses to the pcb. (It requires 10 pulses a second) However if it doesn’t get the pulses it should abort the programme, drain and then give the error F7.
If the number for the original module is different, post it and I’ll dig a bit deeper for you.
Sorry, my answer isn’t really of much help. Give me a shout if I’m online and I’ll do my best to help.DP

Thanks DP
I did think it may be a flowmeter problem, but given the main motor had “frazzled” and blown the board, you would normally assume everything ese to be OK.
Do the flowmeters have a habit of failing ?
Thanks.
Dave.

I’ve never had a flow meter fail yet. It’s always been down to the plug or the wiring. Normally pulling the plug off the flowmeter, crimping it and plugging it back in gets it working.
I’ve got the service manual in pdf format for this machine. Give me a shout if you want it and I’ll send it to you.DP

Hmmm
I wonder if, when the engineer changed the pcb the plug/lead to the flowmeter got yanked a bit.
I’ll check that out.
Thanks again.

We have !
Yep, the flow meter had failed in that the small fuse on the pcb inside the meter itself had blown, presumably when the motor shorted the main pcb.
Even better though, we had one in stock from years ago I ordered as van stock when the Dolphin dishwashers 1st came out 😀

Hiya Dave,
I’ve emailed a spreadsheet to you with regard to the modules.
Hope it’s of some use to you.DP

Yep, got it thanks.
Nice to see someone compiling their own cross reference files like this, if only I had the time 😉
