ParticipantHi, I’ve joined this forum, as on searching the web I found this site had useful answers. I hope I ask these questions clearly enough to gain similar answers.
I have a Bosch WFP3201 which is regularly not finishing a wash cycle with error code F03.
I have followed the advice in the manual, and found further advice here on this site regarding the error.
I’ve cleared the filter, cleared the pipe from the machine to the sink, blown through the tube to the pressure switch. My wife with her crochet hook cleared some debris from the anti syphon cylinder, there’s got to be an easier way, or do Bosch engineers have crochet hooks in their kit? 😆
Anyway as the problem persists I’d now like to check the hose from the drum to the pump, and my eco ball! Didn’t know I had one until I read about it here.
There are four very obvious screws either side of the door aperture, is this all that holds the front on, and is there any detailed instruction anywhere on the web on how to remove and replace the door seal?
Thanking you in anticipation
Ian

If you only want to check the sump hose lean the machine back 45 degrees and get someone to hold it.
This should give you access from underneath the machine. To remove the front of the machine is just making more work for you as you will have to remove the doorseal and possibly even the door inter lock.
Remember to unplug machine before doing anything.

SteveHi Steve, sadly Bosch put a plate on the underside of the chasis of the machine to stop you accessing it this way.

Thanks for you suggestion, however the pump and pipe are right at the front, and not accessible from the back.

Well I’ll take a look and see if I can get it off, I seem to remember it was fitted on the inside of the frame. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can pop the rivets and remove the bottom plate….
it doesnt serve much use other than a drip tray (some machines have flood switches mounted in the centre)
but pretty sure this model doesnt)You can check the diagrams on the Bosch support site
https://www.bosch-eshop.com/eshop/bosch … P3201GB/01
Otherwise:
lid off, soap drawer(remove three torx screws) and top panel should pull forward.
Seal dismount, remove bottom kick plate/usually couple of screws on the bottom door edge need to go.
Front panel should come away by pushing upwards and pulling forwards
(held on by lugs 2 on each side )If you want to remove the front panel completely you will need to remove/unplug the door switch.
hope this helpsFebruary 9, 2011 at 9:34 am #343777ianheavy

Very useful diagram!
I’ll go in through the bottom then! Hmm might’ve worded that better! 😆
Many thanks

but pretty sure this model doesnt)You’re right there was no flood switch. Bosch rivets are pretty hard, went through a few Dremel cutting disks knocking the heads off.
Got in and got the pipes of all clear. The last thing I’ll check is the rubber housing holding the Eco ball. Is there anything I should know, or does it just pull of the bottom of the drum housing?
Thanking you in anticipation.

Should be held by a retaining ring which will unscrew and then sump hose can be pulled away
Motor mountings can get in the way putting it back but nothing to worry about really…..whilst you have access to the drain motor it is a good idea to check the resistance across
the terminals with a mutimeter this should then reassure you that the pump is good -from memory should be approx 200ohms.So if all the pipes are clear and the motor coil and impellor is good then it should now drain like a good un……….
good luck

Many Thanks for all your advice, sadly sorted out the drain and then got a motor fault message.
Couldn’t get back to you earlier as I had to put the washing machine job to one side as the boiler failed and we had major work on as the new boiler was sited in a different site.
Rice cooker, boiler, barbeque and washing machine all went wrong in the same month. Yikes!
Anyway if anyone finds themselves in the same position as myself needing a good specification machine, you might try John Lewis: Panasonic washing machine, 1600 spin speed, 8kg load, all the programs, highly energy efficient and a price of £439.00 with free delivery with a manufacturer’s 6 year warranty! Watch out though, if you take your wife she may sneak off to other departments when you’re sorting out the delivery!!!
Regards
Ian
