    I believe that the door interlock on my old machine is faulty. I can readily remove it but I’m having difficulty in ascertaining the correct part number and a suitable, preferably on-line, spare parts source.

    The numbers written inside the door are:

    E-Nr.605.636.108
    F-Nr.112279471

    Its quite an old one, 20 years i’d say.

    Many thanks. I’d be more than happy to buy it right now if I knew it was the right one. Is there an easy returns policy?

    I will check when I get home if I’ve still got the original receipt but I would guess that I bought the machine in 1993/1994. Apart from a leak at the soap dispenser which I’ve fixed the machine has worked well.

    Is there anything I can check with the original lock – or should I put up a picture?

    Thanks Martin and others. Ordered Tuesday, arrived and fitted Wednesday – one working washing machine 🙂 and one disappointed wife – she wanted a new one ❗
