    This freestanding cooker has a main oven door mirco switch fitted..can anyone confirm if it controls the cir oven element as well as the fan motor.

    Hi John

    Can you recheck and confirm the model number please. Models starting with D are usually built in ovens not freestanding.

    Don,
    The model is correct, it could be built, in I assumed it was freestanding.
    the switch is listed on conect site.

    There is no DWD of any kind listed on Partfinder, or anywhere else for that matter. 😕

    All DW’s are dishwashers but there is no DWD dishwasher either.

    Have you actually seen the cooker John?

    I have just checked through all Hotpoint ovens, both free standing and built in and there are none with 129 in the model number either.

    Is the customer giving you the number from a user manual, sounds like they are looking at a washing machine manual, there is a BWD129. 😉

    on all versions of the UY46K and there is 3, the switch disconnects the neutral supply to the fan motor and element.
