ParticipantWent this washer dryer today customer complaint clothes not drying no matter how long its on the fan and heater are ok the hot air is blowing into drum ok but there does not sound like any water going in to condenser i cannot find a supply to any valve it washes and spins ok am i missing something

I would just like to know if this is a common fault could it be a board fault its not a model i have worked on before this job has come through a letting company that has all hotpoint machines which i am more at home with and they pay on time so i need sort it any bsh stars out there thanks

On the drying side of tripple vavle. Just make sure water is getting through – remove hose from the valve to top of drum/condenser and switch on – make sure water is coming through. It could be a blocked valve (if I remember rightly they have an insert on the vavle outlet ) that restricts the flow. The restricters get blocked or fall out. I think it turns it into a spray to aid cooling and condensing.

got you Jim understand what your saying thank for the info rocketman just didnt get any live feed to valve while on dry thats what confused me should there be a perminant live to valve .Round two 8am fri

Sorted turned out to be solonid valve it takes about 5min before the valve gets alive feed and if you pause the prog it its same again should have waited longer on first visit

i have the same fault as you hotdog and i too didnt wait 5 mins and have no neutral to valve,when you say valve was it o/c as mine is closed or was it a restriction problem?

It was o/c valve didnt see restrictor i just changed coil
