Candy Washing Machine CM462-80 will not start
If you select 40 deg cottons then push start nothing happens, same with most programs I did get it to work on economy and spin and even then it did not want to start straight away.
I checked that the front board that’s in the facia was ok; it had come out of two of its plastic clips I thought that was it but no made sure there were good connections on the PCB.
Could it be the v-selector switch, as I found that there was a problem with them on the Candy GO482 not selection the correct programme. Is there just the one switch that covers all the models?Any suggestion would be much appreciated

There are 3 types depending on shaft colour. Yours is the 22 position selector which is the common one to break down and has an orange shaft.
Part numbers are as follows
41014503 – 22 position – orange shaft
41014502 – 16 position – white shaft
41028011 – 12 position – purple shaft

Not sure Bernie, doubt it as that would be too easy wouldn’t it? But anyway, the selector (41014503) sounds like the likely problem from what you say.
