    going here tomorrow to fit a new cable assy but the cust has also advised that since new he has been unable to use the wand as he cant get it out,I thought dysons where all the same with the button on the front to depress and release the wand is the dc25 different as he says he has pressed everyhting the only thing he can do is pull the internal pipe out of the hose.

    I think you have to pull the internal pipe all the way out and give it a gentle tug and the main hose unclips . No buttons to press.

    cheers rolf you do a bit daft though as elderly cust who has never managed to do it until i showed them .

    I agree it is daft but I think all Dysons are and I carn’t believe anyone would pay upto 350 quid for one.
