    This machine originally tripping fuse.
Found earth leak on motor pin to rev counter coil.Coil was open circuit.
Replaced coil. When machine switched on coil blew straight away.No motor action, however machine continued to drain. Any ideas why coil should blow?

If it’s takeing out the Tacho coil then something must be drawing current through the coil, what happened with the Earth leak on the Motor or was that due to the coil?

…..Ditto those sentiments and also it’s likely that the motor has blown the PCB and hence why stray voltage has got down to the tacho I should imagine. Stuffed motor AND PCB I should think plus you have to ask yourself why the motor shorted out in the first place? Self-destruct mode or a water leak into it? 😕

This is gettin’ messy brother that’s fer sure. 🙁
