Ice is slowly building up around the defrost hole in the freezer. The evaporator is defrosting but is leaving a trace of water in the bottom, which is freezing and is eventually blocking up the hole.Is there any fix for this please.
It is starting to build up in the drip dray in the machine,There is no heat on the drip tray so it seems so the that the evaporator is defrosting but a fraction of the water is collecting in the tray before it has chance to go down the hole to drain.A small amount is collecting in the hole of the drip tray and building up over time.
Can always use an old piece of fridge stat capillary tube bent into shape of ‘Shepards hook’ couple of inches or so. Hook part over deforst heater and poke rest into centre of hole.
Should conduct enough heat to stop drain hole freezing.
